“It is a pleasure for me to present to you the first Report on the progress of BDO in Ukraine in support of the 10 principles of the UN Global Agreement. In June 2008, BDO in Ukraine joined the UN Global Agreement, the biggest programme in the area of corporate responsibility in the world. We were among the first member firms of the international BDO network to sign the Agreement. This social report serves as an important informational tool – it testifies in public the practice of BDO social policy. It is our pleasure to demonstrate our experience, not only in audit area but on those issues that relate to social problems. The report also allows us to analyse our CSR activities and further improve upon them. We believe that the circle of CSR supporters will grow year to year”.
The UN Global Agreement contributes to strong development and encourages bodies to demonstrate their commitment to generally accepted principles in such areas as corruption control, environmental protection and human rights. The report was prepared in accordance with requirements set by the UN Global Agreement network requirements with regard to Performance Report.
