BDO in Romania is currently involved in the following CSR projects:
- Supporting the ‘United Way Foundation’ through annual fund-raising events where the employees’ contribution is doubled by BDO Romania. This year, for example, the projects they are collecting funds for target a number of 38 actions addressing the three main areas: Health, Education and Income. Also, in 2010, our company is offering pro-bono accounting services to UW.
- Donations to the ‘Association for the Support of Physically Handicapped Children’
- Recycling used batteries, paper and plastic containers – we have dedicated labeled containers within the firm.
- Last year we organised an environmental conservation event – the ecologisation of the tourist paths and reconditioning of the information signs in the Piatra Mare mountain area.
