BDO International is pleased to announce that BDO Shenzhen Dahua Tiancheng, the BDO Member Firm in Shenzhen, in the Guangdong province of the People’s Republic of China, has completed a merger with Guangdong Hengxin Delu Certified Public Accountants, effective 27 May 2008.
The combined firm will be known as BDO Guangdong Dahua Delu CPAs and remain headquartered in Shenzhen, although new office locations are added as a result of the merger, in Zhuhai (near Macau) and Nanchang (in the neighbouring Jiangxi province). The firm’s personnel will increase to 15 equity and 22 salaried Partners and approximately 500 non-partner professionals. The combined firms’ revenue was RMB 120 million (€12 million) in 2007 and is forecast to reach RMB 150 million (€15 million) for year end 2008.

Dr Chuangyuan Hu, Senior Partner of BDO Guangdong Dahua Delu, commented that the merger will lead BDO to be a premier public accounting firm in the Southern China region. ‘Our firm is in its 21st year of operation and already provides assurance, tax and consulting services to hundreds of private and publicly listed companies. Our expansion into other cities and our enhanced partnership base can only increase this number, and the level of service we offer, for the benefit of all our clients’, he said.
