Despite the challenging global economic environment, mid-cap CFOs across the world remain confident about their international expansion plans
· A huge 95% of mid-cap CFOs are confident in their businesses’ ability to expand overseas
· They predict that in three years’ time almost half (44%) of their revenue will come from overseas business - up from 37% currently
· 28% believe that doing business abroad is getting more difficult, many citing the financial crisis as a primary cause. 23% think it is getting easier
· Over half of the companies surveyed claim that once a decision is made to open a new office abroad, it will be active in less than a year
