Belgium: Board Member appointed FFE Vice-President

At the General Assembly held in Brussels on 7 December 2006, the European Federation of Accountants (FEE) elected André Kilesse to the position of Vice-President.
André, who is Chairman of the Board at BDO Atrio, the BDO Member Firm in Belgium, has been President of the Institute of Auditors in Belgium for the last three years and his mandate will expire in the spring 2007. His nomination to a Senior position at FEE will assure his continued involvement in the environment of regulation and standard setters at the European level.
'This nomination is not only a sign of personal recognition for André' Frans Samyn says 'it also demonstrates to the communities of regulators and standard setters how much BDO is committed to the profession and its future. It will only add to the credibility and the reputation of BDO in its “without equal” proposition to the market'. |
